Faye H. McDew, NYS Licensed Physical Therapist and founder of East End Physical Therapy P.C., Mattituck, New York has over 29 years of experience providing inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. She is a graduate of Hunter College CUNY School of Health Sciences, 1975, and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association(APTA).

Ms. McDew is well-versed in a broad range of Physical Therapy programs, treatments and modalities restoring function and mitigating disability for diseased and injured patients. She has excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated proficiency in patient assessment, time management and therapy program design and execution. She has proven strengths in managing high volume caseloads in an acute and chronic care settings (hospital, nursing home and home care).

Ms. McDew is an enthusiastic team player, deeply committed to delivering quality care and achieving superior patient outcomes. When she is working as a member of a multidisciplinary case management team, the Physical Therapy treatments and techniques that she utilizes are supportive of a holistic approach. She is skilled in case management, patient relations and communications, quality and consistency of care, team training and supervision.

Years of experience have led Ms. Faye McDew to specialize in holistic management of pain, dysfunction and recovery, using an integrative approach in diagnosing painful joints or other body parts. For example, she utilizes advanced palpation skills in her evaluation and diagnosis of pain or other dysfunction.

Faye McDew is fluent in English, and has working knowledge of Spanish and French. She is a 2nd generation Physical Therapist influenced by her father who has been a therapist in private practice for over 50 years.
