Craniosacral Therapy is a diagnostic and healing approach that is based on the application of corrective pressure to the cranium and spine,
which together make up the craniosacral system.
Craniosacral therapy focuses on the membranes
encasing the brain and spinal cord.
It is believed that these membranes generate the cranial rhythmic impulse
of the cerebrospinal fluid,
which in turn affects the connective tissues linking the organs, bones and muscles of the body.
Craniosacral therapists use this modality to treat mental stress, neck and back pain, migraines, TMJ Syndrome,
and for chronic pain conditions such as fibromyalgia.
This therapy is as way of creating balance in the body.
